Bonnie has been in the insurance industry since 1979. Her experience includes commercial and professional
claim handling, claim management, and program management experience. She has extensive experience in all
areas of professional liability. Bonnie currently manages medical malpractice, legal malpractice, accountants,
architects and engineers, insurance agents and broker errors and omissions, and media professional. She
holds a Senior Claim Law Associate designation.
Cheryl Dommer, Claim Specialist
Cheryl has been in the insurance industry for over 25 years and joined the Freedom Specialty Claims team to
specialize in the handling of professional liability claims as well as catastrophic injuries and complex litigation.
She has held various technical and management positions throughout her career involving medical professional
liability and complex litigation.
Jami Maciel, Senior Claim Specialist
Jami has been in the insurance industry for over 20 years. She has significant experience in handling professional
liability claims involving professional malpractice, employment liability, public entity liability, and a specialized book
of mental health. She has worked for personal and commercial lines carriers in California, Nevada, and Arizona.
She has held both technical and managerial positions, including Litigation Manager.
Robin Donoian, Senior. Claim Specialist/Technical Resource
Robin joined the insurance industry in 1979. She has experience in professional liability lines including medical
malpractice, behavioral health, directors and officers and employment practices liability. Currently, she provides
technical direction for the medical and mental health professional lines. She also has extensive litigation
management experience. Robin holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and a Master’s Degree
in Organizational Management.
